Research

As one of the top academic medical schools in the country, UCSF has a rich research environment with a large number of ongoing studies on women's health.

Part of our mission at the CoE is to develop a broad research agenda that stimulates and supports the investigation of women's unique health needs across the life span, such as our new Women's Health Research Center and Center for Lesbian Health Research. To this end, we are creating new centers that study various aspects of women's health. We also host regular events to increase collaboration among women's health researchers and have published a comprehensive women's health research directory to connect researchers with one another.

We are committed to educating the public about current research findings and opportunities for participation. Our quarterly clinical trials bulletin is a resource for women interested in learning about current research in women's health at UCSF and studies needing participants.
